Zota Beach Resort is a beachfront hotel in Longboat Key, about 15 to 20 minutes away from downtown Sarasota. Our Florida hotel is located directly on the beach facing the Gulf of Mexico. This Longboat Key resort consists of 187 rooms, a pool, beach, full-service restaurant, and high-end wine bar.

We offer a variety of room and suite options for your unique travel needs including resort, pool, partial gulf, and beachfront view accommodations. Premium rooms , which are slightly larger, are in the Opal Tower on the south side of the property.

Sarasota Bradenton International Airport (SRQ) is about 14 miles from the resort. Tampa International Airport (TPA) is 55 miles from the resort. While this hotel doesn’t provide an airport shuttle, our concierge will be happy to organize transportation for you!

There are so many things to do at Zota Beach Resort! In addition to our on-property beach and pool, the Mote Aquarium, Mixon Fruit Farm, and water sport rentals on Anna Maria Island are just minutes away.

No, you do not need to reserve a chair by our pool. Pool chairs at our Sarasota beach resort are first come, first serve.

Beachside, Poolside, and Super (extra-large) Cabanas at Zota Beach Resort are also available for rent. Please contact our concierge to reserve one for your stay.

While the resort does not have self-service guest laundry on property, dry cleaning services are available Monday through Friday (not available on holidays and weekends).

Zota Beach Resort’s cancellation policy varies based on stay date and rate type (for instance an Advance Purchase rate has a stricter cancellation policy than most rates). Our deposit and standard cancellation policies are listed here.

Check in at our Longboay Key beach resort is at 4pm and check out is at 11am.

Our resort offers rollaways for a nightly fee. We also have cribs, high chairs, and booster seats available upon request.

Our pet-friendly Florida resort welcomes well-mannered dogs weighing 30 lbs. or less. Our pet fee is $100 per night, per dog. For more information on our dog policy please click here.

Please contact the reservations department at least 24 hours prior to arrival to pay for all or part of a guest’s stay. Our staff will be happy to send you a Sertifi link so that you can submit your payment information securely and electronically.
